As you may or may not have noticed, Dat Winning went on hiatus this summer for a number or reasons, but mainly to reassess how we could make this a better blog. We’ve developed some new features that we hope readers will like.
For one, we’re now teaming up with the Asian American Writer’s Workshop to provide a fellowship program for aspiring API sports writers / journalists. This to go along with our usual (and hopefully less) sporadic coverage of sports from an API perspective,
Writers and journalists who have signed on to be a part of this new program so far include Grantland’s Hua Hsu, the New Yorker’s Jay Caspian Kang, and The Nerds of Color‘s Keith Chow.
If you are interested in applying, please stay tuned for more info on the fellowship program. In the meantime, we are resuming blog posts this week.
