This appears to be the illogical continuation of the NBA’s Chinese New Year’s greeting from last year. The family is the same, grandma, parental units, kids, they even appear not to have aged at all. We’re at dinner now with James Harden, a digitally-inserted Jeremy Lin finessed poorly (or cheaply) with his new Hornets uni and trademark spikes, Clutch the Bear, who has mysteriously usurped Benny the Bull, and guest-star NBA golden child Steph Curry.
And don’t think it went unnoticed that Harden has finally revealed what he’s doing in his in-game celebrations. Stirring beef noodle soup with his chopsticks. Seems so obvious now.
