Wunderkind Ashima Shiraishi is the youngest climber, and first female, ever to send a V15 bouldering problem
Ashima Shiraishi celebrated her successful climb on Instagram early this morning after she became the youngest climber, and first female, ever to send a V15, the second highest level of difficulty that has ever been achieved in bouldering.
She is the first person to repeat the Horizon route, or “problem” in bouldering terms, set originally by world-class climber Dai Koyamada. He considers it one of his hardest problems ever.
